NYU America Reads/America Counts Waitlist 2018-2019

Please make sure to visit our website to understand the requirements of the program. (If you've participated in the America Reads program in the 2017-18 and would like to participate again, please do not sign up on the waitlist. Please email us directly at areads@nyu.edu.)
This question requires a valid number format.
NYU’s Office of Civic Engagement also coordinates NYU Jumpstart, in which NYU tutors work as a team with preschool age children on the Lower East Side of NYC. NYU Jumpstart requires a full year commitment to work on the same team, with the same children, and in the same timeslot for the Fall and Spring semesters (usually two afternoons a week.) Jumpstart also requires a Federal Work Study allotment. If you would like to know more about Jumpstart and apply to that program, please go to:
http://www.nyu.edu/life/student-life/community-service/local-national-service/nyujumpstart.html.
You may apply to both programs, but will be able to work for only one.
We thank you for your interest in NYU America Reads/America Counts.  When we next hold New Tutor Orientations -- usually in the first week of classes in September and shortly after the Fall Semester begins -- you will soon receive an invitation to sign up for an Orientation.  They usually fill up quickly, so you should be prepared to respond promptly if you are still interested at that time.

BE SURE TO HIT SUBMIT BELOW OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED!
