Easy upgrading
We want to make the transition to SurveyGizmo 3.0 as smooth and easy as possible. For the next couple months you’ll be able to toggle back and forth between the two versions. SurveyGizmo 3.0 has a ton of new features and stores data in a different way, so a survey can only live in one version or the other.
You’ll be able to convert any current 2.6 surveys into 3.0, but not the other way around. We recommend phasing out your existing surveys, and moving them over, once closed. You may move live surveys, as well, if you preview a copy first. And you should absolutely build your new projects in 3.0!
You can be a software developer – really
The old way of building software is to think really hard about what people want (i.e. guess), release it to the world, and then hope for the best. The way we think SurveyGizmo should be built is collaboratively, with you, and that’s what the SurveyGizmo 3.0 Preview Release is about. Our Beta, 250 users strong, went really well and we want to extend that process to include the rest of you.
With SurveyGizmo 3.0, we have added a new community voting tool which allows you to see the features other users are requesting. You get a certain number of votes, which you may put toward previously suggested additions, or you can choose to make some feature suggestions of your own. We’ll use this feedback to make sure SurveyGizmo is the tool you want.
Check it out and tell us what you think on January 26th!
