Simple Polls with Unlimited Responses?
Yeah, we can do that.
So, we’ve been so busy with upgrades and new features, we’ve sort of forgotten to take a minute to let everyone know about one of the coolest additions to the SurveyGizmo feature list. Let me be the first to break the silence!
From our Personal level and up, we now offer a Simple Polls feature tied into our polls. Simple polls are great – you can collect unlimited responses that don’t count towards your monthly response limit.
Yep, you read it right. No limit on the responses you can collect, and they don’t count towards your total monthly responses! Plus, they’re processed in real time, so as soon as someone chooses an option, they’ll get to see not just the previous responses, but their own response thrown into the results, too!
There’s a lot more in a simple poll though! It comes with automatic duplicate response protection by IP address and is designed specifically to be embedded on your own website!
This is a big roll out for our polling customers – designed for those one-off quick questions or polls you want to throw into your website. You can try one out by clicking on “Create Poll” and then putting a check in the box at the bottom of the next page that says “This is a simple poll”. Take a bite, and tell us what you think!
Don’t worry though, if you need more, like cookie based duplicate response protection or a poll that isn’t embedded in your website, we’ve still got our standard polls which will continue to work just like they always have :-)

Great feature, but the blogpost is a bit misleading. Multi-vote protection on IP basis is not working if you have a personal account, you have to have a Pro account of $49,- a month. I find that a tad too much to just use this simple feature, a paid personal account could’ve gotten me over the edge :)

Hi Ruben,
The IP based duplicate protection is actually automatically put on to all your simple polls starting at the Personal level. So you don’t even have to worry about it. But if you are creating a regular survey, form, or regular poll, in order to get that duplicate protection, you will need a Pro level account or above.
I hope that clears things up.
Thanks!
