What is this?

SurveyGizmo allows you to easily create Android surveys using our survey software! All our survey themes are Android, iPhone, iPad, and mobile-compatible by default – so you can create any survey and administer it from an Android phone or tablet.

Additionally, we’ve also designed several Android and mobile survey themes specifically to fit the formatting requirements of Android and other mobile devices. They’re available to all our customers by default.

To create an Android survey, all you have to do is set up your online survey in SurveyGizmo like you normally would. When you go to the “Look and Feel” section to choose your survey theme, just select the Android-friendly theme, and you’re good to go! Your survey will be automatically formatted to work on the native browser of any Android phone.

(Want to customize your Android survey even more? No worries. All our Android survey themes are customizable, so you can change your survey colors, change the survey logo, or otherwise modify it any way you feel like doing.)

What else can I do to enhance my Android survey?

We also offer a mobile survey auto-detect feature which allows you to set an Android- or mobile-specific theme in addition to your normal survey theme. When someone arrives at your survey using an Android phone, iPhone, or other mobile device, our software will detect their browser and serve up an alternate version of their survey.

Additionally, if you want to further customize your Android surveys we have multiple mobile question types available for purchase in the SurveyGizmo Marketplace. They allow you to use some native mobile user interface elements like toggle questions and slider questions in your survey – visit the Marketplace to check them out!

When would I use an Android survey?

Use our Android survey themes whenever you want to conduct a survey or research study using an Android smartphone (or other mobile smartphone, for that matter). Our Android themes work with both smartphones and tablets. They’re great for field research, or to conduct live surveys at events (such as trade shows).

In addition to standard Android surveys, you can also use an Android survey theme in conjunction with our Kiosk Mode feature to collect multiple responses from various users, or with our Gesture Tally question type to conduct an observational study.
