Appendix
What is this?
An appendix is a reporting element available within our summary reports. This element is how we display results of any open ended text question (textbox, essay, list of textboxes, etc) by default.
When would I use this?
The best time to use this reporting element is if you’re looking to view the responses from your open-ended questions aggregated together. This is great for when you’d like to have just a big list of comments to sort through (especially when they’re positive feedback). It’ll help you easily show off comments people have made about your customer service, monthly goals, etc.
When should I avoid this?
As the appendix element is specifically for text analysis, we recommend never using it for any question type that does not include an open ended answer.
The appendix option shows you all of the answers to your open-ended questions aggregated together. If you’re looking to find out which respondent matches up to which response, we’d recommend avoiding using a Summary Report, and using a CSV/EXCEL file instead.
