Custom Questions Builder

What is it?

Our custom question builder allow you to use a combination of client-side and server-side JavaScript to create your own custom survey questions. These newly created questions types can be added to any of your surveys, and can even be sold on the SurveyGizmo marketplace if you choose to.

When would I use it?

While we have a lot of question types built into our application, and we do try to keep developing our software to support more, we may not have the exact ones you’re looking for yet, so why wait? As long as you have a good grasp on JavaScript (or you have a technical department that does) you can use our custom question builder to build any type of question you’d like.

Another great reason to create a custom question is, you can sell it on our SurveyGizmo Marketplace, and get paid for the sales! SurveyGizmo keeps a fee of 30% of the sales, but you keep the other 70%! You can even choose how much you’d like to sell your question for monthly.

What does the interface look like?

Our custom question builder allows you to add just about anything you need to your custom question. You can include help documentation, adjust the CSS, JavaScript, and even change they layout using HTML.

Can I export my custom question’s code?

Most definitely! You can export your code to an XML file. As you can see above we allow you to download it so you can share it with others, or edit it as needed!
