Email Report
What is this?
This feature allows you to automatically run a report or export on a one-off basis, at a specified date and time, or recurring daily, weekly, or monthly and have it sent to you in to an email address (up to 5) of your choice! This means no more scrambling on the first day of the month for last months data, it’ll be packaged up and sent right to you!
When would I use this?
Having the ability to have a report emailed to you on a regular interval can help you (and your coworkers/clients) keep up to date on what is going on with your survey and the responses that you are receiving. You may have a deadline at the beginning of each month to analyze data from the previous month, and so using our emailed report/export option, you can have it sent to you without even having to log into the application.
This can save you time and hassle!
When would I avoid using this?
If you really don’t need your data sent to you on a regular basis, and only really need it once in a while, we would recommend avoid setting up a scheduled report to run. Why clutter up your inbox with information you’re not ready for and that may be incomplete?
If you don’t plan on analyzing your data mid-study, it may be best to avoid scheduled reporting, and only log in to run your report once all your data has been collected. This will keep you on track with your own schedule, and it will keep you from being pestered by needless emails.
Can I customize the email that goes out?
Most definitely! You can customize the following on your email:
- Send To Email (up to 5)
- From Address/Name
- Subject
- Body of the Email
You can also brand your report/export links with your own branded sub-domain or private domain. This means you can send your clients an update on your data on a regular basis, and make it look like the report is coming from you instead of us!
