File Upload Question Type

What is this?

The File Upload question type allows your survey takers to upload files and documents directly to their survey. It allows you to be able to ask for more information (such as resumes, papers, etc), and easily access the files they’ve uploaded for your records.

When would I use this?

This question type is ideal when using a survey as a job application form. Adding this question type to the bottom of the form, you can ask applicants to upload their resume or examples of work.

What other example questions could I ask?

  • Please include up to 3 writing samples.
  • Please be sure to include a copy of your budget for the quarter.
  • Please include a photo of yourself to submit for our records.

How does this Export?

Exporting Example

You can download your files that have been uploaded to the survey either individually, or in bulk. If you download the file in bulk, it will download as a zip file. You can customize how the file names come out as well using our Bulk File Export. This can help you more easily analyze your data as it will be more easily identifiable, and can help you keep your data organized.
