Format text
What is this?
You can format the text of your questions by using our WIZWIG (what you see is what you get) text editing wizard or by typing in your own HTML. This includes the ability to bold, italize, underline, change the color, add links, change the font size and type, and write your own HTML if needed.
When would I use this?
Formatting your text can add that extra emphasis or flair to your survey, and there are lots of differeny uses for it! You may want to specifically highlight an instruction or question, so why not try bolding or underlining it?
Adding links to your survey so that your respondents can reference relevant documents, instructions, or even pictures can be helpful, and is easily done through HTML or our text editing wizard.
Formatting the text and your survey descriptions can really help you look more professional as well. There’s nothing like a specific font, and a well formatted paragraph to give you that extra feel of professionalism!
When should I avoid using this?
It’s best to avoid using excessive amounts of formatting in your survey. Using formats such as bold, italic, or underline are really meant to make a specific items pop out, so if you bold absolutely everything in the question, it really defeats the purpose.
