Gesture Tally Question Type
What is this?
The Gesture Tally question type allows you to keep tallies on a mobile device (such as an iPad or iPhone) in real time. For an observational study or any sort of field research, it will allow you to set values for up to 16 different motions and keep count without even looking at the screen.
As it is a custom question type, it does not come as a part of our regular subscriptions, but is available for purchase on the SurveyGizmo Marketplace. You can purchase this additional survey question type at any time, and you can cancel your subscription to it whenever you’d like!
When would I use this?
This question type is perfect for keeping and collecting rapid tallies in the field using mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones and other smartphones. It makes an ideal observational study tool, as it allows you to focus on the respondents you’re speaking with (or observing) instead of the location of your pen on your paper.
