Localization
What is this?
Localization allows you to quickly and easily choose how you’d like to display your time zone, date, and currency format within the SurveyGizmo application. At this time, this only affects these formats in the SurveyGizmo application itself, not within the exported data.
Enterprise Options
For our Enterprise and Dedicated Customers, localization also allows you to pick which server you would like to serve surveys from (United States Based, or United Kingdom Based).
When would I use this?
Localization was built so that our customers that did not share the same time zone, currency, or date format as us, would be able to customize their account to more easily view their ‘in application’ data. This saves them time from having to convert their timezone, date format or currency from our server defaults.
For example: our servers are based in Eastern Standard Time (EST) but not all of our customers (or even us!) are. If you would prefer to see the time that your data arrived in your unique time zone without having to convert it from EST, you can do so with localization.
