Short Link

What is this?

Short links are a shorter version of your distribution link. They will always have a short domain of 13 characters with a string of either your survey name, or a combination of alphanumeric characters at the end.

When would I use it?

Sometimes you just do not have enough space for a full-sized link. You may need a short link if you are emailing or inserting a link inside a newsletter. You can also use our short links to distribute to mobile surveys, or to social networking sites such as facebook or twitter. They don’t take up much space but they get the job done!

What does it look like?

http://sgiz.mobi/s3/8221856d51d9

By default, your short link will include sgiz.mobi, then an s3 (indicating it is a version 3 survey), then either your survey name or a string of numbers. If you do not like the number/letter combination it provides, you can have the system generate new ones.
