Prevent Search Indexing

Available to All Account Levels.

When links are posted on the internet, it allows search engines to find and index the link. If you do not want people to be able to find your survey on Google, Bing, or any other search engine, you want to turn indexing off in case someone decides to post your survey in a public forum or blog.

  1. Go to the Project tab--> Settings
  2. Click on the Advanced tab.
  3. Check the box to prevent search indexing and click Save Settings.

SurveyGizmo does not enable your survey or projects to be searchable on the internet. However, how you distribute your survey and what survey takers do with your link can give search engines access to your project.
