United Kingdom Based Servers
Available to Enterprise and Dedicated Accounts.
SurveyGizmo now gives you the ability to decide which server location you would like your surveys to come out of, either our United States based servers or our United Kingdom based servers.
Because of the US Patriot act, many SurveyGizmo users have requested that we have multiple servers in other countries besides the US. With the addition of the servers in the UK, we now give you the ability to choose which country you would like your surveys to come out of.
Selecting UK based servers for your survey
Step One
Click on the My Account tab in the upper right hand corner of your account and then select Account Summary from the list.
Step Two
Under Server Location, select United Kingdom as your default server.
Changing Server on a per survey basis
You can also change the server you want your survey to be served from on a per survey basis.
To do this, click on the Publish tab and then click the Web Link option.
Under link Sub-type, you should see the Server Location option. Your default server will be selected here, but if you want to change the server just select the other option.
Special Notes for UK based links
- You will not be able to send out Branded subdomain or short URL links
- Your link will include .co.uk and not .com
