How to Add a Login Action


A guide to all of our awesome actions!

  • A Hidden Value is a textbox in the survey that is never shown to the survey taker. It can be used to stored advanced values such as a randomly generated number, time spend on the page, URL variables, calculations done by custom scripts, and almost anything else you can think to add.
  • ReCaptcha is a third party service that adds a security measure to your survey to validate that the survey taker is human. ReCaptcha does not work with Javascript embedded surveys.
  • A Results Chart is a graph or chart that can show the cumulative results to a survey question in pie chart or bar graph format.
  • A Review Action displays the survey taker's answers to the survey and must be on a page after the questions is needs to display.
  • A Custom Script is a powerful tool that allows you to create complex workarounds and survey customization using our scripting language which is modeled after PHP.
  • A Login/Password creates a measure of security in the survey, forcing the survey taker to login using a universal, one time use, or assigned password. It can also be used to pre-populate surveys with data.
  • A Quiz Score allows you to either grade (pass/fail) or sum (tally) the survey taker's answers and provide feedback.
  • Send Email action allows you to trigger an email to you, the survey taker, or another party from within the survey.
  • A Percent Branch allows you to randomly assign survey takers to branches and then program logic (show/hide) according to the branch.
  • A Page Logic action allows you to create conditional logic for page jumping, disqualification, or redirects.
  • A URL Redirect brings the survey taker to another webpage.
  • An HTTP Connect allows you to pull and push information to and from an external database and into SurveyGizmo.
  • A SalesForce action allows you to pull and push information back and forth between SurveyGizmo and SalesForce.
  • An ExactTarget action allows you to pull and push information back and forth between SurveyGizmo and ExactTarget.
  • An iModerate actions allows you to integrate with iModerate to incorporate iModerat's online, one-on-one, professionally moderated conversations into and SurveyGizmo survey. To learn more, please see: Features: iModerate
