Have Questions? (800) 609-6480

Add a Short Name (Alias) to a Question

Short names, otherwise known as an alias, are like the reporting values of question titles. If you set up a short name it will display in your exports rather than the question titles users see.

  1. Go to the Project tab--> Create & Edit tab
  2. Click the edit button to the left of your question (the little pencil)
  3. Go to the Advanced tab
  4. Fill in your short name/Alias in the box under Advanced Settings.
  5. Save

Your exports will by default now display this instead of your question title in the header column.
