Edit a Live Survey

SurveyGizmo allows you to edit live surveys at your own risk. Certain actions should never be a problem (adding questions, editing wording, reordering options) while other changes will greatly affect your data (deleting questions, deleting options, changing reporting values, etc.).

If you want to remove a question or option from the survey but not lose the data associated with it, we recommend disabling the question.

  1. Go to the Project tab-->Create & Edit
  2. Click on edit (pencil) icon next to the question you want to disable.
  3. Click on the Advanced tab.
  4. Select "Yes" next to Disable Question and Save.

Disabling questions prevents the survey taker from seeing the question but still allows the data to be used in reports and exports.
