Forward-Only Surveys Tutorials
For some projects you may not want the survey taker to be able to change answers on previous pages. The answer in SurveyGizmo is a forward-only survey!
To prevent the survey taker from using the back button to change previous answers:
- Go to the Project tab --> Settings
- On the General tab, select the checkbox for Forward-only Survey, and click on Save Settings
In forward-only surveys, they survey back button will not appear. If the survey taker uses the browser back button, they will be able to see previous answers but no changes will be saved in the database.
You can also remove the survey back button in the Distribute tab:
- Go to the Project tab-->Distribute-->Default theme
- Click on the OPTIONS tab.
- Next to Back Button, toggle it to OFF and save.
Turning off the back button does not prevent the survey taker from using the browser back button
