Limit Data in a Textbox Question

You only want your respondents to be able to enter a specific type of text such as numbers, percents, currency, e-mail addresses, or dates,

Project tab-->Create & Edit--> Select your question
Click the edit button to the left of your question (the little pencil)
Go to the Validation tab
Under Basic Validation select the text type from the "Open Text Data Type/ Format" dropdown menu
