**UPDATE: You can now use EDIT LINKS when the survey is closed.

This help article will be useful if you need to allow a survey taker to complete a partial response or edit the information that he or she already submitted.

  1. First, you'll need to make sure that you have a way of identifying which response belongs to the survey taker. Once you have that information,
  2. Go to the Project tab-->Settings--> Advanced and make sure "Make responses editable by the responder" is checked.
  3. Once that setting is saved, you can open any individual response in your Project tab--> View Data tab
  4. Click on the responses or use the little magnifying glass icon to the left of that particular response.
  5. Go to the Detail tab on the left side of the open response window. There is an edit link that you can send to the respondent so that they can continue filling out his or her survey (or that you can use to make changes to his or her response).
