Introductions and Greetings
A greeting or introductory page is just like any other page of your survey, but you will need to do some reordering to get your greeting page to the beginning of your survey.
- Go to the Project tab-->Create & Edit
- Click on the Insert Blank Page button to the bottom left of your first page to add a page to your survey.
- Click on the
in the top right-hand corner of the page's tool bar to reorder. (You can also reorder pages now by dragging and dropping them in order in the page menu on the far right hand side of the Create & Edit tab). - When you see the Reorder edit screen, use the drag and drop functionality to swap your first and second pages, giving you a blank first page that you can customize.
- Click on Add Text/Image/Video on the bottom corner of the page or drag and drop the paper icon from floating vertical toolbar to add text to the first page of your survey.
Many survey creators also add a radio button question under the greeting asking survey takers to agree to take the survey. Research has shown that this increases the honesty of survey responses.
