Adding an Other textbox

You may want to add a textbox next to some answer options.

  1. Go to Edit Survey > Question Editor.
  2. Click on the edit (pencil) icon next to the question containing the answer option.
  3. Click on the edit (pencil) icon to the right of the option.
  4. Click on Edit Properties to choose Other from the Special Settings dropdown menu.

"Other" textboxes are not required as this is the industry standard. The data for the Other answer option and the Other textbox are stored separately in the database. Tags: Editing, Design
