BigCommerce Surveys Tutorial

If you are using the BigCommerce shopping cart software to sell products online, you can easily incorporate a SurveyGizmo survey, poll, or form directly into your store using the built-in web pages! The following tutorial will walk you through the steps.

Note: You will need the JavaScript embed code from your survey or poll within SurveyGizmo. Go to the Publishing tab of your survey, ensure that the survey is LAUNCHED, and select the JavaScript embed method to get the embed code.

View Web Pages

Login to your BigCommerce store as an administrator and access the menu system, selecting Website Content > View Web Pages.

Create or Edit a Web page

Choose to either create a new survey/poll page or add it to an existing page by editing an existing page.

Select HTML from the WYSIWYG Editor

At the top of the toolbar, select the HTML button in the top-right to enter in the embed code.

Paste in the JavaScript Embed Code

Copy the embed code found on the Publishing page of your SurveyGizmo survey (instructions in the beginning of this tutorial) and paste that code into the window where you would like the survey to be placed.

Save and Preview

Save all of your work. When you are done, you can view your store and check that the survey is loading as expected and the Look & Feel you have selected for your survey within SurveyGizmo matches your store.

You're all set! You can later change out the survey or poll as needed by changing the embed code.
