How to Post Surveys to Facebook and Twitter

Available to All Account Levels.

Social networking is a popular way to share and engage with other individuals content about your life or that interest you. Two of the most popular websites are Facebook and Twitter, both which have built-in integrations within SurveyGizmo.

Facebook

The Facebook integration allows you to easily post your survey to your Wall within Facebook. This does not allow you to post to the Wall of Pages you control (limitation of Facebook). You can also share your survey with others if you wish.

Step 1: Click on the Facebook Post icon on the Distribute tab and set up your Facebook link settings.

Step 2: Once you've set up your link click Post This Link to post your survey to Facebook.

Step 3: Enter the ID of the facebook account you'd like to post your link to (this will allow you to post to not only your own wall but the wall of your company, etc).

NOTE: This will be a number or a word, please do not include the entire link (I learned that the hard way!)

Step 4: Once you're done, click "Continue:

Step 5: Compose the Message that will be posted to your wall along with the survey link.

If you did not post a valid number, you'll see the following error message:

To try again, click "Okay" and enter an alternative ID.

Twitter

The Twitter Post integration allows you to quickly post your survey link to your Twitter account by providing SurveyGizmo with your Twitter credentials and posting directly from the SurveyGizmo Distribute tab.
