How to Set Up A Private Domain
Available to Enterprise and Dedicated Accounts.
Private domains allow you to white label (brand) your survey link so it has no mention of SurveyGizmo.
- Decide what you want your subdomain to be. If your website is www.abccompany.com then you might decide on surveys.abccompany.com
- Tell your IT department to create a CNAME DNS record for the subdomain of your choice and have them point it to privatedomain.sgizmo.com
- Click on My Accounts-->Preferences in the top right hand corner of your SurveyGizmo dashboard.
- Go to the Domains tab and save your new private domain.
- Open a Launched project and go to the Publishing tab. Create a new Web Link and set it up as a private domain.
- Test! Go the the Publishing tab of a launched survey and create a web link using your private domain. The link will not work if it is not set up properly.
If you only have the ability to change your password, you are not listed as an administrator on your account. Please contact your administrator.
