How to Use the Review Response Action

Available to Enterprise and Dedicated Accounts.

The Review Response Action type allows you to show your respondent how they answered your questions through adding just one action.

This can be helpful when you want to give your respondent the ability to review what they put down as answers and allow them the chance to change their mind before submitting their survey. SurveyGizmo users like to use this action when creating quizzes, tests, and job application forms.

To Add the Review Response Action

This action must go after the first page of your survey. If you would like to give your respondents the ability to change their answers before they submit their survey, then you will want to put this action on the page before the Thank You page. This example will show you how to do that.

Step One

Add all the questions you are going to ask your respondent on your survey.

Step Two

Add a page before your Thank You page, where you will have the Review Response Action. Again, this allows your respondent to go back and change answers before they submit your form.

Step Three

Click on Add Action and select "Review" under the first "Misc." Column

Step Four

Add and Edit your Action. Within the settings you have the option to "Allow respondents to download a PDF version of your review action".

This is a way for your respondent to keep ahold of their answers on their desktop after they finish your form. We highly recommend selecting "Yes" to this feature if you're having your respondents fill out a job application or quiz so they can have a copy for their records.

Step Five

Press Save! Then test your survey and start sending it out with the Review Response Action!
