Question Numbering
SurveyGizmo automatically numbers the questions in your surveys. Sometimes you may want more control over your question numbers and you have a few options.
- Turn off all question numbering
- Go to the Current Project–>Publishing tab
- Click “Customize” in the Default Theme area (top right-hand corner of the screen)
- Turn Question Numbers Off and save.
Note: question numbers will still appear in the Question Editor but will be removed at the theme level (preview and published links).
- Turn off individual question numbers
- Go to Current Project–>Editing
- Click on Skip Question Numbering to the right of the question whose number you want to hide OR edit the question (pencil icon), go to the Formatting tab, and check off “Skip numbering for this question”.
When selecting “Hide by Default” in the Show/When tab, SurveyGizmo automatically removes the question number to prevent conflict with live survey renumbering.
