We specify that because it negates any tracking possible through the invitation system. You can set the invitation to 'Link starts a completely new survey' so that they can pass it to others without concern of seeing their own results.

I'm intending sending a survey out to a customer group so I'll be uploading a set of emails. However I know we will still not reach all the users we'd like to, so I'd like to get the primary recipients to invite their colleagues to respond. I would have included the link in the Publish tab as part of my invite, but I see you specifically warn against that: "Survey links from the Publish tab SHOULD NOT be used in the Email Invitation System." Why not? Thanks for your help.

You can view individual responses from the REPORTS tab, click Browse Responses. You can also export to text (bottom left of reports tab) and see each row in the .csv or .xls file as a response and see that ID they provided as a column in the spreadsheet.

For further questions, please use our forums: http://www.surveygizmo.com/forum

Is it possible to track individual surveys: for example I have surveyed 45 students, each with a ID number which they have entered. Can I see what each student has chosen as I will be conducting another survey at the end of the semester (with the same students) Can I individually compare each students first and second survey? (I am using a Free at the moment)

Hi,

Free accounts are allowed 250 responses per month. All of your responses in all of your surveys/polls count towards your total, including Partial responses and any responses you delete.

Free accounts do not see Partial responses without upgrading to a paid account.

If you have less than 250 responses, the overflow you are speaking about are really Partial responses. The Overview page on your survey will tell you about the Partials that you have, but you must upgrade to see the content of Partial responses.

I launched a poll twice because it was an overflow of responses. Can you tell me how many responses I can receive to a poll with a free account? My second question is although the second time I launched the poll it was again locked after being overflowed by 7 it still indicated that there were no responses. How could that be?
And could I get the reports from the poll responses that is not in overflow?

I tried to register for a free account but twice it said there was an error and to give you a ring - but I'm in Australia. I'd love to give it a go. I can see some advantages for my software development business.

I am running a DELL XPSM1330 With Windows Vista Business and Firefox 2.0.0.16.

What do I need to do?

regards

WE primarily support IE6, IE7, Firefox2, Firefox3, and Safari. However, that does not limit the feasibility of our survey in Opera or Camino.
Also, without cookies there will be no issue taking the survey. With javascript off, they can take surveys, however star ranking questions and show/hide triggers will not function, as well as if there is VALIDATION setup, it will still validate, but there will be no feedback for the survey taker prior to clicking NEXT PAGE that the validation will fail (highlighting in red of the text as well as a message). Feel free to use our forums for these questions, http://www.surveygizmo.com/forum
