Hi, Christopher.

You have these options available at the Pro level. At the Personal level you can only send an autoresponder message to yourself.

Best,
Cheri

It would seem that the email auto-responder action does not recognize the variables from an email invitation. I'd like to use the [%%Invite_EmailAddress%%] variable to populate the auto-response's "Send To" field, so that the respondent will receive a copy of their own responses. This is an essential function of the process I'm trying to automate with Survey Gizmo. Am I missing something?

It seems rather odd that I would be able to personalize the entire body text of my Survey with variables from an email invitation, but not the auto-response. The only work around that I can come up with is to require the respondent to enter their email address in a question, which seems kind of annoying since I already have it by virtue of emailing them the invitation to the survey.

I would appreciate any help or guidance with this issue.

Thanks, Christopher

Hi Johnny,
Sure you can do this with a custom script.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish, we may be able to find a better way.

Is there a way to set a conditional statement to only merge fields that were actually filled out? (i.e. non-empty ones)
