Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government are working together on the
Kurilpa Riverfront Renewal project to facilitate the renewal of prime riverfront industrial land in South Brisbane.
The master planning of this precinct was identified as a key initiative in both the South Brisbane Riverside Neighbourhood Plan and the City Centre Master Plan 2014, which have undergone significant community and industry consultation. It also seeks to align with key aspects of the River's Edge Strategy to improve recreational and commercial access to the riverfront.
