Northern Trust Open Exemption Form 2015

The Northern Trust Open Exemption is intended to identify top minority golfers not otherwise qualified for the tournament and award one candidate playing privileges through one of the tournament's unrestricted exemptions.

Selection Process:

The unrestricted exemption will be extended to a top professional or amateur golfer who represents the advancement of diversity in golf, and who would not otherwise be eligible to compete in the event. Applicants must have a USGA handicap of zero or better.

Candidates will be identified through a number of sources including:

The PGA TOUR
PGA of America, through the PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship
Web.com Tour
The First Tee
World Golf Foundation
USGA
Bill Dickey Scholarship Association
National and international outreach efforts to include potential recipients of Hispanic and Asian decent

Application Deadline

The application deadline is January 12, 2015. The winner will be announced on Monday, January 19.
