OPT Reporting

F-1 OPT regulations require students report to ISSS advisors any of the following changes within 10 days:

Any change of your legal name;
Any change of your residential, and mailing address;
Any change in employment, including loss of employment (Please see Limits of Unemployment).

You must also submit a copy of the front and back of your EAD card, if this is your first time reporting OPT employment. Please check your EAD card to ensure the end date is not more than 1 year and 60 days after your program end date. ex: Program end date 6/13/2019, EAD end date should be no later than August 12, 2020. If it is, please notify us immediately.

Students on OPT STEM Extension must also report to ISSS advisors your personal and employment information every six months, starting from the date the 24-month extension starts, even if there are no changes.
