No Music

This listening test is being used as a form of research for an honours project, the information you provide will be anonymous and no personal information is required. The only thing required for this test is that you be 18 or over, you will be asked to provide your age at the beginning. The results from this test will be used in a study to establish if music improves memory recollection.

In this test you will be presented with a list of words for 1 minute 30 seconds. You are required to read those words until the timer runs out. You will then wait a short period of time before you can move on to the next stage. Once the wait time is up you can finish the test, the last part requires you to type every word you can remember from the first section.

It is important that you concentrate when completing this test, you shouldn’t have any music playing or have anything in the background that might distract you from the test.
