Thank you for agreeing to take part in this important survey investigating the gaps and needs of post-secondary education institutions and their commitments as measured by regulations, policies and programs, their capacity to implement inclusive environments, their outcomes (accessibility performance and available services) and their top training needs for future planning. This survey is initiated jointly by G3ict and the Georgia Institute of Technology, AMAC Accessibility and Research Center, College of Design.

Survey results will be used to benchmark the gaps and needs identified by respondents. The results of the survey will be used to develop a White Paper which will be shared with public audience. It is our hope that these efforts will bring together individuals who are the accessibility champions within their post-secondary institutions to share and learn from other champions from around the world. We want to develop a roadmap to replicate this process within continents and countries around the world as one means of accelerating and advancing the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in higher education.

The survey will require approximately 60 minutes of your time. Your participation in the survey is entirely voluntary and you may terminate your participation in the survey at any time. AMAC requests permission to contact you by phone, SKYPE or email to clarify your responses to open-ended questions if necessary.

This research has been approved by Georgia Tech Office of Research Integrity Assurance for exemption status under 45 CFR 46 101b.2.

We kindly request you complete the survey no later than (3 weeks from distribution date).
For questions about the intent of this survey, questions, or clarifications, respondents may contact  Zerrin Ondin at zondin6@gatech.edu or at +1 404 385-5255.

We appreciate your time and assistance in providing information and input that will help us create a roadmap for inclusive ICTs in higher education.
