Right Now, Congress is debating a bill that would take away your First Amendment Rights.
With H.R. 5272, the "Do No Harm" Act, Congressmen Joe Kennedy III (MA-04) and Bobby Scott (VA-03) claim that they want to stop discrimination.
The truth is, they want to punish people for their deeply-held convictions, and force them to provide services for activities in which they do not want to participate.
Imagine:
- Corporations like Hobby Lobby (and non-profits like the Little Sisters of the Poor) forced to provide abortion-inducing contraception as part of their employees’ insurance
- Christian business owners forced to provide services for same-sex weddings, or lose their business.
- Christian colleges forced to teach the pro-homosexual agenda
- Men going into women’s bathrooms on private as well as public schools because of “transgender” civil rights
- Christian employees fired for preaching the Gospel
- Christians going to jail for living and professing their Biblical beliefs
