Kentucky SHRM – 2017 Bridging the Talent Gap Survey
Deadline: March 6, 2017
Results Published: June 2017

Welcome to the inaugural launch of Bridging The Talent Gap Survey – used to identify organizations’ skills shortages across the state of Kentucky.  While unemployment may be improving, the state of Kentucky is still experiencing a shortage of skilled talent. We want to capture your organization’s data to help state policymakers, educational institutions and training providers better understand the urgency of these needs and take action.

It generally takes 30 minutes to complete this survey.  You must finish the survey to be considered a participant. Be sure to “Submit” when finished with the survey.  If you get interrupted with work, no problem!  You will be able to return to the place where you left off by utilizing the “Save and Continue Later” function located at the top of each page of the survey.

When completing the survey, answer the questions based on the skills issues in your local area only. For the purposes of this survey, think of the term "skills shortages" as any instance in which the knowledge, abilities or work place attitude of job applicants or employees is not consistent with the needs of their positions.

HR Professionals – By completing this survey, you will earn one (1) credit hour for both HRCI and SHRM towards your credential recertification

Survey responses are for your Kentucky workforce population only.

Your responses to this survey will be kept strictly confidential. Responses from all participants will be combined, analyzed, and the findings reported only in their aggregate form.

If you do not have time to complete the survey in one sitting, please click on the "Save and continue later" link at the top of each survey page.  This will allow you to complete the survey at a later time starting where you have left off without losing your previous responses.
