SketchUp Pro K-12 Statewide License Grant Program

Trimble has ended our state grant program for SketchUp Pro a 3D modeling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural, interior design, civil and mechanical engineering, film, and video game design.  The following SketchUp Pro license is offer until the end of the current school year.

SketchUp Pro 2021
Remote Learning License with 'At Home' use, Expiration: 1/1/2022
Traditional License, Expiration: 7/1/2022

SketchUp for Schools
SketchUp for Schools is a web-based modeling tool available for free to schools using Google's G-Suite for education. Developed specifically for K-12, SketchUp for Schools features built-in training tutorials and curriculum to help students and teachers quickly gain confidence and improve their 3D modeling skills. As a general purpose 3D modeler, SketchUp for Schools can be used to design anything, from parks and skyscrapers to 3D-printable action figures.

SketchUp for Schools, which is integrated with G Suite for Education complies with all federal regulations defined in COPPA and does not capture any personally identifiable information (PII). As a G Suite for Education App, SketchUp for Schools also complies with the  privacy and security policies defined by Google's Educational Privacy Policy.

IP Address - Request
Thank you for requesting a SketchUp Pro license through the Statewide License Grant program. In order to authorize your state’s license, your grant administrator will need to add your school/district’s IP address to a list of approved sites.

Student home access will be allowed as remote learning continues due to COVID-19.

The SketchUp Pro license server requires a PUBLIC (outward facing)  IP address in either IPv4 or CIDR block format. 

**Please note** The following IP address ranges are PRIVATE, and will not be recognized by the SketchUp licensing system. If you have an address that falls in any of these ranges, please contact your network admin to request your public address.
 

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 (Class A private addresses)
           172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 (Class B private addresses)
           192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 (Class C private addresses)
