Solar Energy Analysis (SEA) is a FREE tool available to Minnesota Power customers interested in solar energy. There are many things to consider when installing a solar system on your home or business. Having an SEA performed will help you decide if a solar energy system is the right fit for you, understand the interconnection process and learn about site-specific conditions that may affect an installation.
During an SEA, a representative from Minnesota Power will visit with you about your home or business to analyze the site and provide information to use as you consider installing a solar energy system. Minnesota Power may also provide a summary of the findings for you to use when searching for or working with a solar installer.
How do I participate?
- Complete a Solar Energy Analysis (SEA) application or by calling Minnesota Power at 218-355-3720
- A Minnesota Power representative will contact you.
What are the requirements to participate?
- Participants must be Minnesota Power customers (e.g., responsible for their own Minnesota Power electric bill).
