HD Channel Air Time Application

Dear Producers/applicants,

We have great news for you. You no longer need to be a Brooklyn resident to apply for a time slot. 

Brooklyn Free Speech prioritizes channel scheduling in the following order, based on the availability of channel-time:

 

1) Brooklyn residents and Brooklyn organizations submitting and producing their own programs.
2) Brooklyn residents and Brooklyn organizations submitting programs on behalf of non-Brooklyn residents.
3) New York City residents or organizations outside of Brooklyn submitting and producing their own programs.
4) New York City residents and organizations submitting programs on behalf of non-Brooklyn residents.
5) Programs submitted from outside of New York City.

If you would like to change your Brooklyn sponsor to yourself as applicant, please fill out the Change of Information Form.

Thank you for your interest for submitting content for air on Brooklyn Free Speech HD. We have five channels. The scheduling and application process for our other four Brooklyn Free Speech channels is very different than the scheduling and application process for our new Brooklyn Free Speech HD channel. This is a very good thing, as it allows you to submit shorter or longer-form content.

We've recently made some changes to the policies, which include:

• Producers can submit content and application at any time. Monthly due date is the 15^th of every month. Application receive after the 15^th will be processed next round. (Opening period is 16^th of every month through 15^th of the following month)
• Producers may submit as many programs & episodes as they wish, however, time slots are based upon availability and reasonably judgement of Programming staff.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All programs being scheduled for air on Brooklyn Free Speech HD MUST be submitted with the application. Your application will not be processed until we receive your file (ie: film, TV show, short, documentary, etc.).
