Career Connections Volunteer Interest Survey

Cal State East Bay has recently launched the Career Connections Volunteer Program which Connects Pioneer alumni who have career experience and advice to give with fellow alumni and students looking for help starting or advancing their careers.
If you are interested in learning more about these volunteer opportunities, please complete the following survey:

1. What type of advising are you interested in? (Check all that apply)

LinkedIn Connection - Join and participate actively in our Alumni LinkedIn group. Respond to questions from other Pioneers, both students and alumni, and provide connections and advice, offer informational interviews, post job and internship opportunities when possible.
Time Commitment: Flexible. 1-2 hours per month based on connection opportunities as they arise.
Event Connection (in person) - Serve as a career panelist, speak at an industry event, host group discussions, provide 1-on-1 advice at career development events.
Time Commitment: Occasional. 3-6 hours depending on preparation, drive time and event length.
Virtual Event Connection - Similar to above, but conducted entirely online. Advise from anywhere with no driving, parking, or traffic involved! Most events will take place around the lunch hour or after work.
Time Commitment: Occasional. 1-2 hours per event.
1-on-1 Mentor - Deeper level of commitment for university and community partner programs looking to match alumni mentors with students for a period of time, generally 1 year or more. Screening, training, and signed agreements may be required.
Time Commitment: Regular contact and occasional training or in-person events. 2-6 hours per month.
