Summer 2017 Grant Development Writing Group: Undergraduate Research
Do your goals for Summer 2017 include the development of grant proposals to support research experiences for undergraduates (REUs), course-based undergraduate research experiences (CURES), and/or other undergraduate research related projects? Would you benefit from participating in a community of Cal Poly faculty and staff who are also developing grant proposals to support access to undergraduate research opportunities at Cal Poly this summer?
If so, please sign-up to participate in a new writing group meeting in Summer 2017 that is focused on grant development to support undergraduate research experiences.
Participants will determine the structure and activities of the group at the first meeting. However, possible activities include peer feedback on drafts, dedicated writing time, shared literature review development, and/or "accomplishments" meetings (where you share what you have accomplished since the previous meeting and what you plan to do before the next meeting).
The first meeting of the group is planned to occur during the week of M 6/26. Please sign-up to indicate your interest by W 6/21.
