Topeka 2017 Fall Conference Volunteer Form

We need you and your talents to make this celebration as excellent as possible! Whether you are a new adviser or a veteran, a professional or an academic, the students of Kansas want to hear from you.

Who do we need?

Advisers: new and experienced, near and far, online and print, broadcast and yearbook . . . we need everyone involved!
Professional journalists: our students love your sessions, regardless of your expertise!
Journalism faculty: reach high school students with your favorite topic or expertise
Industry professionals: from yearbook companies, newspaper publishers, etc. (Sessions should not serve as endorsements for products or services.)
Retired professionals: we would love for you to step forward to help teach

What do we need?

Critiques of students publications during 30-minute blocks during the afternoon of Monday, Sept. 25
Session presentations during 50-minute blocks on Monday, Sept. 25 and Tuesday, Sept. 26

How does it work?

The convention committee will review presentation proposals and contact you soon about your time slot and location.
Our committee will also be sure to arrange technology, as available, for your presentation
