Welcome to the Trade Secret and Proprietary Information Management Practices benchmark survey. The purpose of this survey is to capture information that is pertinent to managing trade secrets.
The results will enable us to provide you with aggregated analysis: methods to capture and manage trade secrets, practices to control and prevent trade secret and proprietary information misappropriation, tools to detect leakage/theft of trade secret and proprietary information, and impact of the Defend Trade Secret Act.

Confidentiality
This is a blind survey and all responses will be kept strictly confidential and merged with all participants.
Anonymity Statement
To ensure your responses remain anonymous, reports prepared will not provide groupings that contain less than 5 participating companies.
Answering Questions
Participants are not required to answer all the questions, but in order to get the most from the study we encourage you to complete as many questions as you can. If you are unable to answer a question, we prefer you skip it.
The asterisk (*) next to a question indicates that it requires an answer.
The survey may request actual numeric values. The numeric values will be used to provide you with detailed analysis, which includes ratios and performance correlations. Please provide 2017 or last fiscal period.
All participants will receive a complimentary summary report.
