Advisor Application for Tech2Empower Peru

What is Tech2Empower Peru?

Tech2Empower Peru is a unique volunteer opportunity for women working in tech, communications and finance to share their professional skills in support of social and gender justice, all while traveling, making new friends, learning and having fun!

In October 2018, a team of Tech2Empower Advisors will travel to Peru to learn about women's entrepreneurship, women's rights and girls' education. Our volunteer team will provide mentorship, training, and skills-sharing with local women entrepreneurs, as well as to activists and leaders from women’s rights NGOs and girls' schools.

Tech2Empower Advisors will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in teams to coach and co-create (systems, strategies, plans, digital collateral) with local women entrepreneurs
  • Learn about women's and indigenous rights in Peru directly from leaders in the field
  • Learn from and share skills with women's rights leaders
  • Mentor young women and girls in career, leadership and tech
  • Participate in site visits with local women's organizations
  • Build meaningful connections with like-minded women working locally and internationally
  • Learn about local history, visit landmarks and participate in cultural enrichment activities
  • Learn new technology, training, communications and leadership skills from trainings led by fellow Advisors
