Envoy Union Contact/Steward Signup

The strength of the union comes from our unity and participation. We need agents from every Envoy location to get involved – you can do your part by signing up as a steward and/or local (station) union contact.

Steward – responsible for helping co-workers with grievances (discipline, contract violations), meets with local managers to discuss group concerns, signs new hires up as union members. CWA holds one day steward trainings in hub cities on a regular basis.  Please note that participants will need to arrange for the time off to attend the training, i.e. swap if you do not already have the day off.

Union Contact – involves co-workers in union activities; shares information on bargaining, conference calls etc; relays station issues to the national bargaining committee; collaborates with other union leaders from around the system to improve jobs
