What matters the most in physical activity interventions for people living with dementia – a survey for professionals, volunteers, friends, relatives and carers
 

You are invited to take part in a research study. See below the key information about this research. Please click here to access the full version of the participant information sheet. 

  • This survey is formed of two rounds. If you decide to take part, it is important that you complete both rounds.
  • Each round should take you up to 20 minutes to complete.
  • The first round starts at the bottom of this page. If you are using a smart phone or tablet, you will see a blue arrow to the right at the bottom of this page that will take you to the first question of this survey.
  • A few months after completing this (round 1 survey) you will receive an email with the link to the round 2.
 
  • This study aims to get to an agreement of what are the most important effects of physical activity for people living with dementia.
  • You have been chosen because you have been involved in physical activity for people living with dementia, as a professional, a friend or a relative.
  • By “physical activity”, we mean any activity that involves moving the body. It can be walking, doing housekeeping tasks, gardening or doing exercise or sports. 
 
  • The information you give to this study will be used in scientific articles, posters, leaflets, conferences and other public talks, but you will never be identified - your identity stays confidential at all times.
