Cal Poly's Chicanx/Latinx Commencement 2018 Signup

The 40th annual Chicanx/Latinx Commencement celebrates the culture and accomplishments of Cal Poly Latinx students. This bilingual ceremony, organized by the Chicanx/Latinx Commencement Committee, is open to all students, parents, family, and friends. The night consists of food, entertainment, guest speakers, remarks by graduating students and recognizes those who have supported Latinx students throughout their Cal Poly journey.

Please Note: Bios for the printed program are due to commencement@calpoly.edu by Friday, May 4. 
Friday, May 4 between 10am-2pm at Building 81 is also the LAST day to take a professional headshot to have included in the printed program. You must take a professional headshot for it to be included in the printed program.
The Chicanx/Latinx Commencement (CLC) Committee, made up of interested students, faculty and staff, is still in the planning stages of determining the size and scope of the ceremony. It is our plan to include as many students who are interested in participating. By filling out the information in this survey, you will be indicating your interest and potential level of participation.

Students can elect to either participate in the ceremony (the committee is currently considering a $40 charge; this would cover the graduate's food and a serape stole) or just purchase a serape stole ($25). No payment is needed at this time. The committee hopes to have a finalized price by spring quarter that will be communicated via email to all students.
