PSE SEIU Local 1948 - Colville Transportation Mid-Bargaining Survey

Greetings PSE Colville Transportation Members!

As you know, your PSE Chapter is in negotiations with First Student on your collective bargaining agreement. Your team is working tirelessly to fight for fair treatment, competitive wages, and dignity in your workplace. Your chapter’s Negotiation Team has met numerous times and has actively engaged the employer in negotiations over a span of 5 two-day meetings. The first rounds of negotiations dealt mostly with language changes to the contract, and we have come to agreement on several items. We are now entering into the financial/economic portions of bargaining and would like to have input from our members about the key areas in which they would like our Collective Bargaining Agreement to improve. Feedback from our membership is VITAL to the success of the Union in negotiations, as it is our duty to fully represent the will of our members.

Below is a survey that will help your voice be heard by the team, and in turn, by the company. Please be as detailed and honest as you can be in order for your team to best assist you and your brothers and sisters in PSE.

3. We understand that the timekeeping system currently in place is a problem for some of our members. We are currently addressing issues and possible solutions with the current system of using Zonar for the purposes of timekeeping. Are you experiencing issues with Zonar and the accuracy of your time? If so, please explain in detail your concerns and propose a possible solution.
