SECOND STREET CORRIDOR PROJECT - ISSUES

Introduction

The City of Snohomish plans to improve Second Street between State Route 9 and Lincoln Avenue in downtown Snohomish and needs your help! The purpose of the project is to improve the safety and appearance of the street for people walking, bicycling, driving and accessing transit, and to benefit existing and future businesses and residences along the street.

An important consideration is the role that Second Street can play in the downtown. First Street is the heart of historic Snohomish with slow car traffic, active sidewalks, and thriving businesses. Today, Second Street is mainly used for accessing or passing through the downtown by car or bus, but it also supports a number of businesses.

The City wants to know what the current issues and opportunities are on Second Street to inform the plan. The input you provide will make Second Street better serve all Snohomish residents. The survey should only take about five minutes.

Please visit the City's project website here or contact Denise Johns, the City of Snohomish Project Manager, at (360) 282-3195 or johns@SnohomishWA.gov if you have questions about the project.

Thank you!
