Scholarship Program Guidelines and Information
  1. To be eligible for these scholarships, each applicant must be an agriculture teacher who is employed to teach at least one CASE course in a school in the fall of 2018 OR actively seeking employment as an agriculture teacher beginning in the summer or fall of 2018 in a school where CASE courses will be taught.
  2. Each applicant must prepare an application and supporting documents and submit the complete package during the course of this application. The deadline is April 16, 2018, however scholarships will be granted after review of qualifications until all available scholarships have been awarded.
  3. The scholarship applications will be evaluated and those applicants selected to receive scholarships will be notified by April 19, 2018; unsuccessful applicants will also be notified.
  4. Successful applicants will receive a partial scholarship to participate in a CASE Institute of your choice.  We hope you consider the Principles of Agricultural Science –Plant CASE Institute at Pontiac High School. Dates and locations for the 2018 CASE Institutes are on the CASE website at this link. The value of the will be $1600.

  6. Each application submitted must include the following:
    • narrative (approximately 500 words) detailing the scholarship's potential impact on students, agricultural education program, school, teacher, and/or community;

Grants will be funded through the Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education Project through the Illinois Agricultural Education Line Item.
